CEDRIC HAMILTON

Cedric Cecil Hamilton was born to the late Oscar and Mae Dell Neal Hamilton in Ashdown, Arkansas on March 11, 1952. He transitioned from his Earthly Home to his Heavenly Home at 9:30 p.m. on July 4, 2022 at St. Vincent Infirmary Hospital, Little Rock, Arkansas. He joined Freeman Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Ashdown, AR. He was educated in the Foreman School District in the class of 1970, where he played football.. After becoming an adult, he met and married Margie Ann Ramsey. Cedric had various jobs, and to name a few, he worked on the farm, a truck driver, and for Domtar Paper Mill where he retired after 18 years. After retiring, he kept busy and worked briefly for Flowers Bakery. Cedric is preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Mae Dell Neal Hamilton, former wife, Margie Hamilton, brothers, James Hamilton, Adelbert Hamilton, and Lawrence Hamilton. His paternal grandparents, James Henry Hamilton and Mary Lizzie Sandefur Russell; maternal grandparent, Dan (Rube) and Louisa Jackson Neal. Cedric C. Hamilton is survived by his two daughters, Mrs. Tanisha and husband Bentron Parker and daughter Baylea J. Parker of Sherwood, AR and Mrs. Mandy and her husband Milton Glass, Jr., and children Makensie N. Glass, Mikayla M. Glass, and Milton Christopher Glass of Springdale, AR. Siblings, Phyllis Hamilton, Waldo, AR, Ms. Evelyn Hall, Foreman, Arkansas and Gene and wife Debra Hamilton, Nash, TX He is also survived by girlfriend, Shirley Watson , her daughter, Roniesha and husband, Kennie Dunn, their children Morgan Dunn, Naython Dunn and Kerrighan Dunn, and Whitley Watson and son, Kameron Watson, and legion of other, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will be at Lyles Funeral Home, 3:00-6:00 P.M. Friday at Lyles Funeral Home Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Lyle Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Milton Glass, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Newsome Cemetery, Millwood Community Online registration at lylesfuneralhomeinc.com.
