Eric Bachle, 33 years young, ascended home on July 15th, 2022 in Ashdown, Arkansas after a courageous battle with cancer. Born February 13th, 1989 in Cotton-wood, AZ ; he grew up in Arizona with his mother, and stepfather, Tricia and Joseph Winters. Eric attended Camp Verde Schools, Edwards Hall, and Fort Vancouver High School in Washington. Eric served as an altar server at St. Francis Cabrini and Immaculate Conception Catholic Parishes. He was a wandering gypsy child who loved exploring the outdoors and collecting tactical gear. He set his sights on Texas at the age of 7. Eric was an intense spirit, a master of discovery who took the world apart piece by piece on his own terms. He challenged the people around him to look and think deeper, meeting his illness with that same sense of intensity and humor, joking about being an “alien experiment”. He was moody, edgy, and goofy. He enjoyed reading and was a life-long learner. He loved science-fiction, Star Wars, was tech savvy, built and repaired small engines and was an incredible artist. Eric was an accomplished tattoo artist. He had a heart of gold and passion for helping the homeless. His greatest accomplishment was that of being a father to his son Michael. Eric is predeceased by his first-born son, little Eric (Amber); survived by his son Michael (Emily); siblings Megan, Bella, Stormy, Colter, Jacob; parents Tricia and Joe and father Lee. Eric spent his final days at Shelly & Dean’s by the lake on Jacks Isle with his family, friends and best fur baby, Jacks. Eric has chosen to make an anatomical gift in hopes of furthering educational studies and research. Memorials will be planned at a future date to celebrate Eric’s life.
