Luke Carder Sachitano was born on August 13, 2013 in Dumas, Texas. He lived a full, adventurous, and meaningful life that ended too soon on July 15, 2022. He was accompanied to heaven by his Mimi and his cousin Zak. Luke was known as kind, witty, and fearless. He loved to help those less fortunate and often became upset with injustice he witnessed in the world. He was strong, and recently enjoyed giving his mom piggyback rides. He loved to wrestle with his Dad and enjoyed making jokes and being goofy with his older sister. He was gentle, loving, and protective with his younger sister. He liked to banter and joke with his step-dad. Luke has many family members and friends that remain behind to honor his memory. His father, Shane Sachitano. His mother, Brittany Carder and fiancé Randy Thomason. His big sister Lily Sanchez, and his baby sister Laurel Athena Thomason. Grandparents Pop (Bruce Carder), Gigi (Lisa) and Greg Love, Frances “Grandma France” and Rick Dixon, and Randy and Judy Thomason. Uncles Skylar Miller, Bryan Morgan, and Sean Carothers. Luke also had a special connection to his cousins Laurie Vargas and Seraphine Carothers, and his great, great Aunt Dixie. Many family members and family friends were waiting to greet Luke when he passed through the veil, including his great grandparents and great uncles. A memorial service to celebrate this precious life will be held on Saturday July 23rd, 2022, at The Collins Home at 1915 Olive Street in Texarkana, Texas. This memorial will be child friendly and all who knew and loved Luke, or who wish to show support for his family, are welcome to attend. An annual memorial fundraiser for the local food bank will be organized at a later date.
