Amy Lynn Hall York, 52, of Atlanta, Texas, went to be with the Lord on July 22 in Queen City, Texas, surrounded by friends and family. Amy was born August 8, 1969 in Texarkana, Texas to Lonnie and Elga Hall. She worked as a bookkeeper within a number of local businesses throughout her career. She was a member of Cass Baptist Church where she actively served with her husband, Jason York. She enjoyed a love of the outdoors either through camping, fishing or gardening. As a master gardener, she developed her skills in identifying and growing many plants and flowers. Amy was known for her love and service to others, whether providing childcare to many children of friends, family or the surrounding community, or sitting with senior adults. As a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, Amy modeled the love of her savior in whose arms she now rests. She is survived by her husband, Jason York; daughters, Elizabeth Hall, Savanna Hall; son, Randall York and wife Katelynn; sister, Jan Elliot; brother, Jason Hall and wife Becca; mother, Elga Hall; father, Lonnie Hall; granddaughter, Alana “Red” York; and a number of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Cass Baptist Church. Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, July 25, 2022 at Hanner Funeral Service.
