JOE HAMPTON

Joe H. Hampton, age 84, of Texarkana, Texas passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. Joe was born November 7, 1937 in Queen City, TX. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy; a retired electrician at IP Paper Mill and member of IBEW. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Velma Hampton and brother Floyd Hampton. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Hampton of Texarkana, TX; brother, Dan Hampton of Atlanta, TX; sister, Lucy Clayton of New Braunfels, TX; special friends, Freddy Brimer, Veneda Lance and Alice and Rick Falcon; and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be 10 a.m., Friday, July 29, 2022 at East Memorial Chapel - Moores Lane with Rev. Neal Ridling officiating. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery, Queen City, TX under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Texarkana.
