Jimmy Thrash, 86, of Ashdown, AR passed away in his home of natural causes on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Jimmy was born November 7, 1935 in Texarkana, AR to Audrey and Corrine Thrash. He is preceded in death by his parents and just recently his sister-in-law, Carolyn Thrash. Jimmy was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Ashdown, AR since 1944. He was on the Board of the Little River County Farm Bureau Association for over 30 years. He was on the Board of the Little River County Farm Bureau Association for over 30 years. He graduated from Ashdown High School in 1953, served his country as an Army Veteran, raised beef cattle on his cattle farm for a number of years and retired from Brown and Root. The treasure of his life was his wife, sons, grandkids and numerous friends. Jimmy loved to tell jokes and make people laugh, especially his grandkids Kylie and Cameron. He was a generous husband, dad and grand-daddy. He enjoyed getting together with the kids, playing cards and Loved to Call Those Hogs. He will be greatly missed. Jimmy is survived by his wife of 62 years, Pat Thrash, two sons Layne (Heather) Thrash of Panama City, FL, Cotton (Kathy) Thrash of Ashdown, AR, four grandchildren, Kylie (Brynson) Crouch of Hot Springs, AR, Cameron Thrash of Little Rock, AR, Dakota Delozier of Ashdown, and Austyn Delozier of Panama City, FL, one brother Rodney Thrash of Ashdown, AR and a host of family members and friends. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown, AR. Graveside services to be held Friday at Ashdown Cemetery at 2:00 pm. with John Ford Officiating.
