JACKIE POLLOCK

Jackie Ray Edward Pollock, age 82, of Avery, passed away Friday, March 11, 2022, at Wadley Regional Medical Center. Jackie was born June 17, 1939, to Albert and Linus Whitaker Pollock. Jackie was an avid wood carver and a jack of all trades. He loved his grandchildren and was the biggest kid of the bunch. Preceding him in death are his parents and brother, Frank Pollock. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Janie Broomfield Pollock of Avery; 3 sons, Bryan Ward and wife, Nancy of New Boston, Gary Don Ward and wife Cindy of Dekalb and Steve Ward and wife Jeanene of Bogata; 3 daughters, Lisa Downs of Dekalb, Shannon Shipp and husband, Andy of Keller and Stephanie Edge and husband, Pat of Soper, Oklahoma; 2 brothers, Jerry Pollock and wife, Claudia of Arizona and Paul Pollock and wife, Linda of Arizona; grandchild, Justin Steinhilber and numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
