SHEILA HENSLEY

Sheila Dianne (Smail) Hensley joined our Lord in Heaven on March 22, 2022. Sheila was born on May 5, 1943 to John and Doris Smail of Browns-town, Illinois. She had three siblings, Carol Smail, Betty Warner and Donna Smail. Sheila graduated from Brownstown High School in 1961 where she was the Prom Queen. In 1967, she married Tommy Hensley and they went on to have two children, Brian and Melissa Hensley. She was employed with K-Mart on State Line and 7th Street. Following retirement, Sheila spent her days with her grandchildren and serving her church. Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, John and Doris Smail and her sister, Donna Smail. She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Tommy Hensley; son, Brian Hensley; daughter, Melissa Hensley; grandchildren, Mikayla Langford and her husband Zack Langford, Hayden Otwel, Holland Grider and her husband Taylor Grider; great-grandchildren, Christian, Layton and Josie, as well as her brother, Carol and his wife Carol Ann; sister, Betty, and her husband, Haldon Warner.
