Tommy Joe Eubanks, 81, of Emory, Texas, peacefully passed away on May 20, 2022 surrounded by loved ones, after a difficult battle with liver failure. Tommy was born on June 21, 1941, to Joe Bert Eubanks and Myrtice Virginia Rounsavall in Texarkana, Texas. After Tommy graduated from Liberty-Eylau High School he attended Technical Data Institute and began working at Red River Army Depot then went on to work as a Field Service Engineer for many years with National Cash Register. Tommy married Barbara Ann Ray June 23rd, 1962, and had two children, Pamela Ann and Jeffrey Scott. His work took their family to Omaha, Nebraska; Roanoke, Virginia; Euless and Richardson, Texas. Tommy retired to be close to family in Emory. He enjoyed tending a few cows and donkeys on his place, camping with family on Lake Ouachita, and working on cars and tractors. Tommy Joe was predeceased by his wife, Barbara, and daughter, Pam. He is survived by son, Jeffrey and wife Marianne, their children, Timothy James and Scott McClain; granddaughter, Carolyn Ann Stout; grandson, Wilton Alan Stout and wife Meghan; brother, Ronnie Eubanks and wife Jo Ann, their daughters, Rhonda and Amy. Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Chapelwood Funeral Home, 1015 N. Kings Hwy, Nash, TX, with Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Private Burial will be at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
