Survivors include his wife, Almeda Bell of Ashdown, AR; daughter, Gene Gill of Muskegee, MI; son, Michael Bell of Ogden, AR; daughter, Natalie Bell of Chicago, IL; step brother, Roy (June) Banks of Ashdown, AR; daughter, Debbie (Andrea) Johnson of Oak Park, IL; daughter, Carolyn Carthon of Texarkana, TX; daughter, Rosemary Carthon of Chicago, IL; son, Tyrone (Lisa) Pettigrew of Chicago, IL; daughter, Shelia Carthon of Chicago, IL; daughter, Paulette Pettigrew of Hammond, IN. Visitation is Tuesday, May 31, 2022, from 5:00-6:00 PM at Jones Stuart Mortuary. Graveside services are Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Ashdown Cemetery, 935 N. Corbin St., Ashdown, AR, with Dr. Oliver Woods, Eulogist. Arrangements are under direction of Jones Stuart Mortuary. Masks and social distancing required.
