Marjorie Eggleston

Marjorie Eggleston, age 97, of Nash, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, October 1, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born January 9, 1925 in Ida, Louisiana to Earnest and Susie Seale. Marjorie was Baptist by faith and enjoyed working in her yard and fishing, but her real joy was her family. She is preceded in death by three sons, Walter Wray, James Wray, Robert Wray; one daughter, Susie Lafayette; four grandchildren, Dianne Browning, Rachel Hudson, Nathan Eggleston, Johnny Wray; brother, James Seale; sister, Edna Pearl Carlisle; and her parents. Marjorie is survived by two sons, Wayne Wray and wife Rita of Huffines, Texas, Tony Eggleston and fiancé Hazel Cowley of Nash, Texas; two daughters, Mary Arnold of Dekalb, Texas, Shirley Lindsay and husband John of Douglassville, Texas; twelve grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Huffines Baptist Church, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service, with Bro. Dave Bailey and Richard New officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, before the service. Interment will be in Huffines Cemetery. Guest registry is available at www.hannerfuneralservice.com.
