Katie Nell Dumas

Katie Nell Dumas passed away October 8, 2022 in Texarkana, TX. Katie was born September 23, 1924 in Ashdown, AR to Lou Venia and William Cook Wilson. She was the Secretary Treasurer for the Little River County Courthouse and a member of Ashdown First Baptist Church in Ashdown, AR. Katie is preceded in death by her husband Claddie Dumas and son Al Dumas. She is survived by two grandchildren; Kimberly & Matthew Shaw of Portland, TN and Matt & Michelle Dumas of Lafayette, LA. Six great grandchildren; Shali & Jory Stewart, Kelsey Ford, Brianna & James Bain, Jaxson Raines, and Ryan and Grayson. Eight great-great grandchildren; Carson, Madilynn, Madi, Bentley, Kylan, Percy, Astrid, and Liam. Visitation will be Monday October 10, 2022 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Madden Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be Tuesday October 11, 2022 at 2:00pm at Madden Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Ashdown Cemetery.
