Gary Bevis Sr.

Gary Bevis, age 52, of Horatio, Arkansas died on October 14, 2022, in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Gary was born October 5, 1970, in Dyersburg, Tennessee. He was employed with Tyson Foods as a maintenance technician. Gary was a playful and energetic man. He was known to be the life of the party. He was always bringing joy to those around him. If you were in his presence, you could not help but smile, laugh, and have a good time. He was a great man who loved to share his happiness with others. He enjoyed working on cars, in his free time, but what he enjoyed doing most was being a grandfather. Mr. Bevis loved spending his time with his grandkids and sharing his love of life and cars with them. He is preceded in death by his father, Harry Bevis; one brother, Harry Bevis Jr. and his grandparents, L.J. Howard, Cora Ann Tate Howard, J.C. “Jake” Bevis, and Evelyn Janese Holland Bevis. He is survived by his significant other, Diana Brown; two sons, Gary Bevis Jr., Justin Bevis and his wife Kelli; five daughters, Patricia Wilson, Evie Bevis and her significant other, Simon, Jessica, Miranda Coto, Jessica and Heath McDanial; his mother, Edna Gibson and her husband, Dale; three sisters, Wendy Beard and her significant other, Mark Hall, Christina Genrich and her husband, Joel, LeAnne Perry and her husband, Isaac; two brothers, Phillip Bevis and his wife, Cortney, Dustin Hendren and his wife, Jess; twenty-two grandchildren, six nieces, four nephews, one great niece and a host of other friends and relatives. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Christian Warriors Church with Micah Harp officiating.
