J.L. BERNARDI

J.L. Bernardi, 77 years young, of Foreman, AR passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022 in Texarkana, TX. He was born in Fresno, CA to the late Johnny Leon Bernardi and Lorene Mason. He is preceded in death by his parents and nephew Jay Ray Kent. J.L. Bernardi retired from Red River Army Depot and was an Army Veteran in the 101st Airborne. J.L. loved spending time with his family, friends, driving his cars and messing with his chickens. He is survived by one son Jay (Angela) Bernardi, one daughter Bonnie Bernardi, one sister Bonnie (Gene) Chamlee, one nephew, Ron L. (Dee) Bigham. J.L. is also survived by three grandchildren: Lakyn and Conner Smith and Clark Clevenger. He also has one great grandson (Jaggar Smith) coming in January. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Madden Funeral Home in Foreman, AR. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Blackland Cemetery in Foreman, AR with Duck Gauldin officiating.
