Elmer Wayne Cannedy

Elmer Wayne Cannedy, age 50, of Texarkana, Texas, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 25, 2022, in a Texarkana, Texas hospital. Wayne was born August 29, 1972, in Irving, Texas, to Darrell and Kathy Cannedy. He was a former employee of Red River Army Depot; a member of XXX Motorsports; and a Christian by faith. He enjoyed spending time working on and running his mudder truck at XXX Motorsports events. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Temperance Demby; his In-Laws, Betty and Floyd Ply; and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Cannedy of Texarkana, Texas; three daughters, Brittany Cannedy of Leary, Texas, Victoria Demby and husband Justin of Atlanta, Texas, Jennifer Cannedy of Texarkana, Texas; two brothers, Darrell Cannedy of Paris, Texas, Ray Cannedy of Hooks, Texas; five grandchildren, Kashton, Ripley, and Jebland Demby, Wylie Delaney and Atlas Casias; and a number of other relatives and a host of friends. Visitation will be Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
