Jesse Leneal Strain

Jesse Leneal Strain passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022 at his home in Avery, Texas. He was 35. Jesse was born January 4, 1987 in Mount Pleasant, Texas to Joe and Glenda Strain. He was a former natural gas pump mechanic for Parks Energy. Jesse was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and was an Eagle Scout. He was a member of De Kalb Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe D. and Mary Nell White and Clemmon and Ruby Strain; a half brother, Gregg Henry; an uncle, Charles Keating; an aunt, Jenean Poirier, and his father-in-law, Shane Spivey. He is survived by his parents, Joe and Glenda Strain of De Kalb, Texas; his wife, Adriene Strain of De Kalb, Texas; one son, Colton Strain of De Kalb, Texas; one daughter, Savanah Strain of Hugo, Oklahoma; one stepdaughter, Alexia Gibbs of De Kalb, Texas; one brother, Ray Strain of Houston, Texas; uncles and aunts, Glenn and Barbara Greenwell and Joe and Ramona White; cousin, Scott Greenwell his wife, Katie and their daughter, Sara; cousin, Lindsey Greenwell; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mechelle and Randy Huggins of De Kalb, Texas; brother-in-law, Nick Spivey of De Kalb, Texas; grandmother-in-law, Audrey Capps of New Boston, Texas; other family, Suezanne Fielder of Mount Pleasant, Len Henry, James and Diane Fielder of Mount Pleasant, Texas; two half brothers, Cody Henry of Oklahoma and Jordan Fielder of Mount Pleasant, Texas; two half sisters, Whitney Greeny of Mount Vernon, Texas and Sarah Smith of Paris, Texas and numerous other relatives and friends. Memorial services will 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas at Bates Family Funeral Home with Jonathan Moles officiating. Cremation carried out under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
