Patsy Jean Tatom

Patsy Jean Tatom, 83, of Ashdown, Arkansas passed away on August 29, 2022. She was born April 16, 1939, in Stamps, Arkansas to Willie Blankenship and Jimmie Blanche (Ham) Blankenship. She enjoyed reading her Bible and working on crossword puzzles along with her biggest enjoyment of all time spent with her family. Patsy was a member of Central Baptist Church in Ashdown, Arkansas. Ms. Tatom was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerrell R. Tatom; her brother, John “Bud” Blankenship; two sisters, Pauline Tatom and Hazel Garland. Patsy is survived by one son, Dale R. Tatom of Holly Mound, Arkansas; three daughters, Connie L Gregory (Gary) of Ashdown, Arkansas, Tina F. Garrison (Weldon) of Ashdown, Arkansas, and Daphnea Tatom Ryan of Ashdown, Arkansas; one sister, Brenda Goodner of El Dorado, Arkansas; special brother in law Arvis Tatom (Sylvia) of Rogers, Arkansas; grandchildren Brandi Sanders, Cameron Tatom, Brandon Tatom, D. J. Gregory, Jace Garrison, Maeghan Ryan; great grandchildren, Taylor Teague, Haylie Teague, Claire Tatom, Alivia Tatom, Caitin Tatom, Elise Garrison, Ryleigh Garrison, Easton Garrison, Addison Ryan, and Jacob Ryan Sorrell; her close friend Mary Joe Rogers. Pallbearers for Ms. Tatom will be four of her grandchildren, Cameron, Jace, Brandon and D.J. along with Stephen Tannehill, Terry Tatom, Steven Tatom, Michael Green, Patrick Tatom, Paul Howard, Ronnie Howard, and Jim Canaday. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at A. O. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, Arkansas with Brother Don Embry and her nephew, Dave Blankenship officiating, under the direction of A. O. Smith Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Sardis Cemetery. Visitation will be held at A.O. Smith Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, September 2, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
