Tommy Wayne Brown passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at his home in New Boston, Texas. He was 74. Tommy was born July 13, 1948 in New Boston, Texas to James William and Melba Lea Vanderburg Brown. He was retired from Red River Army Depot and was a member of Pinkham Memorial Missionary Baptist Church. Tommy was a veteran in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Debbie Brown of New Boston, Texas; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Melody and Trey Pope of Mt. Vernon, Texas and Kyndel and Dan Foreman of Arab, Alabama; one son and daughter-in-law, Colby and Cayla Brown of De Kalb, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Lawrence and Joyce Brown of Plano, Texas and Terry and Cheryl Brown of Longview, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia and Paul Morgan of Sugarland, Texas; three brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Stan and Carol Flanery of De Kalb, Texas, John and Michelle Flanery of New Boston, Texas, and Mike and Leslie Daniel of New Boston, Texas; five grandchildren, Mason Pope, Cameron Pope, Asher Foreman, Conley Brown, and Blakely Brown; two special caregivers, Juanita Moore and Kim Estes; and numerous other relatives and friends. Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 30, 2022 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Bro. James Boyd Strain and Bro. Brian Finn officiating. Visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 30, 2022 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas. Interment will follow at Ringwood Cemetery in New Boston, Texas.
