GLENMARKUS WALKER

Mr. Glenmarkus Denzel Walker left us on February 22, 2023 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Glenmarkus was a beautiful soul. This, in brief, is his story. Glenmarkus was born on August 2, 1990, in Texarkana, Texas. He attended school in the Texarkana, Arkansas school district and graduated from Arkansas High in 2008. Glenmarkus attended college at Grambling State University and majored in Mathematics. Glenmarkus married Kia Bursey on July 14, 2018. Glenmarkus went on to be employed at CTEH as an Environmental Specialist for six years. Glenmarkus was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerry E. Walker, Monroe and Bettie Walton and his aunt, Rhonda Walker. Glenmarkus is survived and will be missed by his: wife, Kia Bursey-Walker, Little Rock, Arkansas; children, Jerrion Rashad Walker, Texarkana, AR, Axel Glen Walker, Kade Jerry Walker and Aria Bursey, all of Little Rock, Arkansas; parents, Michelle and Tracy Walton, Texarkana, Arkansas and Rory and Patreece Rhodriquez, Miami, Florida; grandparents, Thelma Walker, Texarkana, Arkansas and Reginald and Fredricka Rhodriquez, Miami, Florida; siblings, Courtney (Sha’Candra) Walton, Atlanta, Georgia, Ja’Lynn (Clifford) Gray, Little Rock, Arkansas, Neshia (Justin) Harris-Fricks, Texarkana, Arkansas, Christopher (Shaniece) Bell, Houston, Texas and a special cousin, Brandon Walker of Texarkana, Texas . Glenmarkus also leaves to cherish his memories a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins. A celebration of Glenmarkus’s life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Lonoke Baptist Church, 1841 Lonoke Avenue, Texarkana, Arkansas with Pastor Arthur Hill, Sr. as the eulogist.
