LOUISIANA SHERIFF ARRESTS TWO IN TEXAS DEATHS

TULLOS, La.-Two men have been arrested on charges of killing a Texas couple who were reported missing and later found dead in LaSalle Parish.

Austin Dyess, 18, and Joshua Sant, 26, were arrested Friday on charges of second degree murder and criminal conspiracy to commit second-degree murder.

The LaSalle Parish Sheriff's Office says the men killed Chelsey Copling, 19, and Demond Garner, 26, of Hawkins, Texas, and their bodies were found in a wooded area near Tullos on Thursday.

Authorities say the suspects and victims spent time together, having met through a mutual friend.

Copling and Garner were reported missing after they walked away from a house in Tullos April 24.
