A tip was called into the Lafayette County, Ark., Sheriff's Department Tuesday and helped to arrest two juveniles who had escaped from the Canfield Department of Youth Services and allegedly burglarized a church.
Two juveniles escaped from the youth services Monday and had been missing since about 8:30 p.m.
The Sheriff's Department and the Department of Youth Services conducted a search until 1 a.m. Tuesday.
Later in the day, the Sheriff's Department received a tip saying the juveniles had been spotted on Lafayette County Road 20.
The two juveniles were found west of the Alford Farms.
The juveniles also allegedly burglarized the Cross Roads Baptist Church and stole several items, said Lafayette County Sheriff Obie Sims.
"I would like to thank all volunteers, case workers, officers, and fire departments for all of their help and support," said Sims.
