The Texarkana Independent School District's Board of Trustees will meet at 11:30 a.m. today in the Administration Building, 4241 Summerhill Road, Texarkana, Texas.
Agenda items include consideration of proposals in the Child Nutrition department, consideration of a memorandum of understanding between the district and Texarkana College regarding an Adult Education grant and consideration of the 2017-18 compensation plan.
They will also consider endorsement of Thomas Darden to serve as Region VIII representative on the Texas Association of School Board's board of directors, hear a report on the Highland Elementary Campus and hear the annual English as a Second Language and Bilingual Education report.
