The Maud Independent School District Board of Trustees recently named Chris Bradshaw as the lone finalist for superintendent.
Bradshaw, who has served as principal at Como-Pickton High School in Hopkins County, will replace retiring Superintendent Charlie Martin. Trustees will vote on Bradshaw's contract during their regular meeting June 29.
"Chris Bradshaw has a great passion for student success and has had a wide experience in Texas public education ranging from high school principal, elementary principal, athletic director and has a master's degree in business administration," Maud ISD board president Melford Pierce stated in a press release.
"We are fortunate to have a man of his experience and caliber to lead our district."
