BAE Systems and Red River Army Depot are continuing their efforts to support the Warfighter after the two teams re-signed a teaming agreement Thursday.
RRAD Commander Col. Jason A. Carrico and Deputy Commander Patton Tidwell were joined by executives from BAE Systems for the signing ceremony, including Andrew Corea, vice president for operations for combat vehicles; Adam Zarfoss, vice president/general manager for combat vehicles; Dave Isherwood, program manager for Bradley Vehicles; Gordon Jewett, site manager of operations; and Bill Noonan, depot partnership manager.
The partnership with BAE is Red River's longest running public-private partnership, which began in 2004. Since its inception, the partnership has generated more than $600 million in revenue.
"Our partnerships are a tremendous benefit for not only the depot and private industry but also for the Army as whole," Carrico said. "We are grateful to continue on the path to exceed our customer's requirements by working with BAE Systems in future endeavors."
Together, Red River and BAE Systems have produced over 6,200 Bradley Fighting Vehicles over the past 13 years. The teams have supported production rates as high as 25 vehicles per week.
"This is a relationship that BAE has enjoyed for years and we are very much so looking forward to renewing the relationship with Red River," Corea said.
