Two arrested on charges related to stolen camper

A Miller County man and an Ashdown, Ark., woman were arrested Friday on charges of theft by receiving after authorities allegedly found a stolen camper in their possession.

The camper theft was reported stolen to Miller County Sheriff's Office on March 29. It was reportedly taken from a home on County Road 306.

About 3 p.m. the next day, deputies and investigators went to a home in Fouke, Ark., where the stolen property was believed to be, said Mark Lewis, MCSO spokesman. They found the camper and two suspects, Timothy Yarnold, 28, of Miller County, and Mary Kennedy, 28, of Ashdown.

The camper was recovered and then released to the owner, Lewis said.

Yarnold and Kennedy were arrested by Miller County Investigator Thomas Whitt on charges of theft by receiving. The two are being held in Miller County Detention Center for arraignment on the felony charges, Lewis said.

The investigation is ongoing.
