The Sportsplex by HealthCARE will host a Polar Plunge at 11 a.m. Feb. 3 at 5610 Richmond Road.
Registration begins at 10 a.m. Event organizers are looking for people to take an icy dip for a good cause-Special Olympics Arkansas.
Participants must be 12 or older and have a pledge of at least $50 to participate, which qualifies for an official Polar Plunge T-shirt. People who raise $250 receive a T-shirt and beach towel. Participants who raise $500 will have an umbrella added to their prize package, and those who raise $1,000 or more also will receive a lawn chair.
