TEXARKANA, Ark. - One person died early Sunday morning in a wood-frame house fire in the 1700 block of Preston Street.
Arkansas-side Fire Department units arrived on the scene before 6:30 a.m. and had the blaze under control about 7 a.m., said Arkansas-side Battalion Chief Brian Henry
No information was immediately available regarding the victim's age, gender or identification.
