GILMER, Texas -- Two teams aiming to reclaim recent winning ways clash in their season opener tonight at Eagle Stadium.
Hooks and Harmony meet at 7:30 p.m. with getting the season off on the right foot on their minds.
The Hornets went 4-7 a year ago after claiming back-to-back district titles. Hooks returns eight offensive starters and five on defense.
The Eagles were 7-4 for the second straight year last fall after going 8-4 in 2019 and 10-2 a season before.
Both schools compete in Class 3A, Division II.
