TEXARKANA, Texas -- The suspect in Friday's shooting at the Sunset Apartments has been arrested and booked into the Bi-State jail.
Alfred Reynolds was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Texarkana Texas Police Department. Reynolds turned himself in to police late Friday, police say.
Reynolds is suspected of shooting another man in the face.
Police received a call about 3:30 p.m. Friday about a man who had been shot at Sunset Apartments in the 1600 block of Allen Lane.
The 31-year-old victim had been shot once in the face, but his injuries were later determined to be non-life threatening. He was taken to a local hospital and is expected to make a full recovery, according to TTPD.
The victim was sitting in a car with his wife and two small children when Reynolds allegedly approached the driver's side of the vehicle. He allegedly fired multiple shots into the vehicle, one of which struck the victim.
Additional charges are pending, according to police.
