TEXARKANA, Texas -- The Texarkana Area Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 278, will hold their 25th Annual Veterans Information Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m Saturday at the Texas Elks Lodge 2771, 3702 New Boston Road.
Veterans will have access to information from at least 16 different agencies. They include: the Texas Veterans Commission, the Texas Work Force Center, the local Veterans Administration Outpatient Clinic in Texarkana, Arkansas; the VA Medical Centers in both Shreveport and Little Rock; the U.S. Social Security Administration; the Arkansas Office of Veterans Affairs; the Arkansas Workforce Center; and the Texarkana College Veteran Service officers.
Other agencies include: the Texas A&M University-Texarkana Veteran Counselors; the Veterans Service officers from both Miller and Bowie Counties, the Area Agency on Aging, Hospice of Texarkana, East Funeral Home, the American Red Cross, Texarkana Funeral Home and Guardian Health Care.
