TEXARKANA, Texas -- CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System will host a "Red, White & You" event for health care workers Thursday at Redbone Magic Brewing.
The event will be from 5 p.m to 8 p.m. at 1304 Texas Blvd. to kick off Memorial Day weekend.
The event is open to all nurses, respiratory therapists and laboratory technicians and will include complimentary food and drinks. Area businesses will provide door prizes ranging from sweet treats to pampering packages.
"This will be a night of well-deserved recognition and celebration, especially after the last 18 months," said Kelsi Ayres, director of talent acquisition for CHRISTUS St. Michael in a news release. "It will be a privilege to honor the participants for their dedication, caring and unrelenting commitment to the healthcare profession," Ayres said.
