TEXARKANA, Texas -- The Texarkana Museums System is planning one of the Twin Cities' main sesquicentennial events this year: unearthing the Centennial Time Capsule in the spring.
The unearthing is set for April 14-15 at the federal building downtown. The capsule was buried in 1973 on the west side of the building.
Museum curator Jamie Simmons said last week the two-day event will include music and food. More events will be added, she said.
