TEXARKANA, Texas -- Liberty-Eylau Independent School District is preparing for its second job fair in two years.
"The past two years is the reason why we opened up the job fair again. At the beginning of the year, there were one or two positions that were not filled. We continue to really struggle to find certified, qualified teacher candidates," Human Resources Director Brandy Burnett said.
Burnett said interested applicants will be able to interview for teacher and paraprofessional positions. The district is looking for teachers for all subjects.
The job fair will be from 9 a.m. to noon Mar. 30 at the Rader Dome on the high school campus, 2905 Leopard Drive.
