BREAKING | Nash shooting suspect's bail $10M

TEXARKANA, Texas — Bail has been set at $10 million for an 18-year-old arrested Tuesday for allegedly killing four people in his home, according to Bowie County court records.

Caesar Olalde of Nash, has been charged with capital murder of multiple persons. He remains in the Bi-State Detention Center.

The names and ages of the victims have not been released. Officials also have not said whether the victims and Olalde are related. The manner of death has not been disclosed.

Nash Police Department was dispatched to 563 Lemon Acres about 10:50 a.m. Tuesday on an unknown issue.

“Witnesses on the scene made officers aware of an individual armed and barricaded inside the residence,” the police department said in a news release.

Along with Nash, Bowie County Sheriff’s Office, the Texas Rangers, the Department of Public Safety and several area police departments mobilized at the scene.

A sheriff’s office negotiator made contact with the barricaded man and arranged his surrender.

The man was identified as Olalde, who was arrested at the scene.
