Prep Softball: Mollie Fisher, Texas High continue dominance after another monster win over Marshall

TEXARKANA, Texas -- A night after handing Longview a lopsided loss, Texas High kept the momentum rolling with a 14-2 victory over Marshall on Friday night at Lady Tiger Field.

Texas High (19-10-1, 8-4), which defeated the Lady Lobos, 24-13, on Thursday night, got another big contribution from Mollie Fisher, who hit a grand slam and drove in seven runs the night before. On Friday, she hit her third home run in two games and finished with a game-high three hits, including a triple and two RBIs.

Infielder Preslie Clopp and outfielder Anna Lee added two hits and two RBIs each.

The Lady Tigers scored the game's first two runs in the first inning and followed that up with one in the second, eight in the third, and three in the fourth. Marshall managed to score a run in the second and one in the fifth.

Eva Treadway recorded the win in the circle, striking out four, walking two, and allowing two runs on six hits.

Texas High is scheduled to return to action on Tuesday when it travels to face off against Whitehouse. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m.
