EL DORADO, Ark. -- Aniya Arnold hit a three-run inside-the-park home run as Arkansas High played a nearly flawless ballgame in an 11-0 win over El Dorado on Tuesday evening at Lady Wildcat Field.

Macie Lee threw two perfect innings in the circle, striking out five of the six batters she faced, and Palin Nichols relieved her to hold the Lady Wildcats to just two hits the rest of the way.

Arkansas High (16-4) opened the contest with a five-run first inning, adding five more in the third and its last in the fourth while playing error-free ball. El Dorado finished with four errors.

Arnold, the leadoff hitter for the Lady Backs, and Jaela Coleman got on base to begin the first inning with back-to-back hit-by pitches. Lee then connected on a hard-hit ball to third, but an error allowed her to reach base safely and score Arnold and Coleman for an early 2-0 lead.

In the next at-bat, Nichols reached first on an error by the first baseman. Lee scored on the Lady Wildcats' mishap. With one out, Nichols was brought home on a sacrifice fly before Taylor Pascarella ripped an RBI single to left field to score Treshure Martin.

Pascarella helped begin their five-run third inning with another RBI single, scoring courtesy runner Kaylynn Drake. Hailey Sherk's sacrifice fly to left field scored another run before Arnold cleared the bases with her home run.

Up 10-1, Arkansas High brought its last run home in the fourth when Pascarella hit into a fielder's choice to score Jewel Smart, who drew a walk earlier in the frame.

Arnold and Pascarella, who both had a team-leading three RBIs, led the Lady Backs with two hits each, while Coleman, Lee, Nichols, Savannah Wilder, Jordyn Collier, and Snyder collected one.

Arkansas High, which is three games behind Conference 5A-South leader Sheridan with five games remaining, will look to win its fourth straight and ninth in its last 10 games on Friday with second-place Benton (10-5, 6-2) coming to Texarkana. The Lady Backs are 5-1 at home this season.
