TEXARKANA, Ark. -- Arkansas High School's robotics team recently nabbed its third win at the regional level FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition, which pushed the team to the next stage, the Global Championships.

The team of eight high school students call themselves the Tuskin' Raiders and will compete at the global level for the third year in a row.

"Three years in a row is unbelievable! We have such dedicated sponsors, team members and great help from other FRC teams willing to mentor. It truly is a great organization," co-sponsor Chris Brisco said.

The students on the team balance multiple extracurricular activities, co-sponsor Laila Miller said.

"Through that diversity, (they) bring different viewpoints and ideas to the table," Miller said.

The Tuskin' Raiders will compete at the FIRST Global Competition from April 17 to April 20 in Houston.
