TEXARKANA, Ark. -- A local man has been charged with 100 counts of distributing, possessing or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.

Jonathan James McLean, 38, is being held in the Miller County Detention Center with bail set at $250,000, according to court records.

On March 14, agents with the Arkansas State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and officers with the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department took McLean into custody at his place of employment and transported him to the Miller County Detention Center, according to a news release from ASP.

The arrest resulted from ICAC and TAPD executing a search warrant at McLean's home in the 1400 block of Orleans Street.

Agents seized electronic devices and other evidence at the home, including a laptop and iPhone, according to court records.

The investigation started after the task force received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tip was the result of the uploading of 109 images of prepubescent children engaging in sexually explicit conduct to the internet service provider DropBox Inc., according to an affidavit signed by an ASP investigator.

After reviewing the cyber tip and the videos and photos, it was determined the upload occurred in January and was associated with the account of "Jon Hanson." The IP address was associated with Sparklight, the internet service in Texarkana.

A subpoena was issued to DropBox, and the information provided identified McLean, according to the affidavit.

McLean has an April 9 court date in Miller County Circuit Court with Judge Wren Autrey, according to court records.
