The Dallas/Forth Worth Scarborough Renaissance Festival celebrates its 40th season beginning Saturday and running every weekend through May 31. Party with Picassos "Roaring '20s Style" and accompanying events are now an online auction with art on display at the Regional Arts Center. There will be an opening reception April 17 with the exhibit and online auction running April 17-24.

Jefferson (Texas) Opera House Theatre Players hosts "Chocolate Sunday" on Sunday, April 18 at the Hotel Jefferson. Entry blanks are available on the website for cooks and chefs to bring in their best chocolate dish by 1 p.m. for judging between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., A separate judging is available for children's entries up to age 12. Those who donate $12 or more can be entertained by specialty music acts, including Lisa Daye and Rockin' Riley Cox. ALSO: Auditions for two upcoming productions will be held at 2 p.m. on weekends, April 17—18 and April 24—25. Audition sheets are required, and singers may use CD instrumental music without vocals or audition a cappella. Historic Washington State Park presents the exhibit "Territorial Arkansas: The Wild West Frontier" through May 31, at the 1874 Courthouse Visitor Center. The museum is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
