Paul Pewitt led the way with six superlatives on the 2020 10-3A, All-District football team.
Deiontray Hill was named Offensive Most Valuable Player, Rhys Kelley earned Offensive Lineman of the Year, Kendrell Webstter was the Defensive Lineman of the Year and Hayden Green was chosen Offensive Newcomer of the Year.
Davarious Clark from Hooks was the District's Most Valuable Player, while teammate Keyshawn Walls was honored with Defensive Newcomer of the Year.
Daingerfield's Dee Lewis was the Defensive Most Valuable Player, and Daingerfield earned Coaching Staff of the Year.
Each team named a Utility Player of Year and a Special Teams Player of the Year.
Utility Players of the Year were Tommy Rigsby (Hooks), Decorian Wright (Daingerfield), Noah Mayo (Paul Pewitt), Tristin Preston (Paris Chisum), Ramaj Vaughn (DeKalb), Lincoln Smith (Prairiland) and Malcom Brown (Redwater).
Special Teams Players of the Year included Matt Hays (Hooks), Amerle Stephens (Daingerfield), Dalton Vissering (Paul Pewitt), Brody Erwin (Paris Chisum), Conrad Crouch (DeKalb), Tyler Maull (Prairiland) and Korben Singletary (Redwater).
First team quarterbacks were Benji Johnson of Hooks, Zaylon Jeter of Daingerfield and Preston Davis of Redwater.
Jake Ledford of Hooks, Dawson Adams of Hooks, Zakylon Williams of Daingerfield, Demarcus Hill of Paul Pewitt, Jody McGee of Paul Pewitt, Jett Morris of Paul Pewitt and Jordan Leverett of Paris Chisum were each chosen first team offensive lineman.
Kadrien Johnson (Paul Pewitt) and Chris Worthy (Paris Chisum) were the first team running backs.
First team receivers included Kielon Estell (Hooks), Braxton Jimmerson (Daingerfield), Coby Wright (Daingerfield) and Brayden Brown (Paris Chisum).
Xavier Huey of Hooks, Jakelyn Hayes of Daingerfield, LaQuentin Searcy of Daingerfield, Payton Yandle of DeKalb and Arie Love of DeKalb were each honored as first team defensive lineman.
Inside linebackers on the first team were Kylie Bagby of Hooks, Latham Morgan of Redwater, Brylee Galloway of Prairiland, Jayden Wallace of Daingerfield, Tanor Mines of Paul Pewitt and Kolby Kelley of Paul Pewitt.
Eric Morris (Paul Pewitt), Ashton Fleming (Paris Chisum), Tra Jones (Hooks) and Ishmael Allen (Daingerfield) were chosen first team outside linebackers.
First team defensive backs were David Johnson of Hooks, Amyree Johnson of Paul Pewitt, Rylan Boutwell of Paris Chisum, Ty Olson of DeKalb and Jamar Vaughn of DeKalb.
