NEW BOSTON, Texas - Redwater finished 1-2 in the District 14-3A boys golf tournament Monday at Oak Grove Golf Club.
The Dragon team of Cole Turner, Dalton Robertson, Ethan Knight, Kaden Bowen and Alex Calicott won the championship, and the Redwater team of Cooper Thompson, Jackson Trevino, Carson Bowman and Drew Graves placed second.
Blayd Proctor of DeKalb was the top medalist in the boys division. Redwater's Turner was runner-up, and Robertson was third.
Queen City, led by medalist Claire Bates, won the district girls title. Joining Bates were teammates Rylie Blythe, Lauren Carroll, Aubrie Kiser and Hallie Worthington.
Atlanta's Cassidy Caver was district runner-up, and QC's Carroll finished third.
