College Baseball: Razorbacks down LSU

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.-Tim Carver had three RBIs, Kyle Robinson had a key sacrifice fly and Arkansas beat LSU 5-4 on Sunday.

Arkansas (23-8, 6-6 Southeastern Conference) swept Louisiana State (21-11, 3-9) for the third time since the Razorbacks entered the SEC in 1992 and for the first time since 2004.

Robinson drove in Arkansas High graduate Bo Bigham with a bases-loaded, walk-off sacrifice fly in the ninth for Arkansas. Bigham started the rally by hitting a double off Matty Ott (0-2) to lead off the inning.

Carver's first home run of the season, a two-run shot, put Arkansas ahead 3-0 in the fourth. The Tigers scored all their runs on a sixth-inning grand slam Austin Nola that briefly gave them the lead.

Cade Lynch (3-1) picked up the win in relief of former Texas High star Randall Fant for Arkansas.
