The answer to a recent Where Is It? mystery is that Dr. Bruce and Muriel Legrow of Linden have an inuksuk growing in their garden.

He's a recent creation by Dr. Legrow, who is originally from Newfoundland where the inuksuk is plentiful.

The creations are an ancient symbol of the Inuit culture. They are a landmark and navigational aid and also represent northern hospitality and friendship.

The inuksuk is on the flag of the Canadian territory of Nunavut. Nunavut is the newest, largest and most northerly territory of Canada. It is home to the world's northernmost permanently inhabited place, Alert

Inuksuk Point on Baffin Island has more than 100 of these stone cairns. The area was designated a National Historical Site of Canada in 1969.
