A stolen vehicle was found in the Red River near Mandeville, Arkansas Wednesday morning.
The submerged vehicle was discovered by people fishing about 11 a.m. Wednesday near First Old River, said Miller County Chief Deputy Mark Lewis.
The Toyota 4Runner had been reported stolen a few months ago in Texarkana, Arkansas, Lewis said.
Game and Fish officers used a sonar device and the Lafayette County dive team also assisted MCSO in getting the vehicle out of the river.
"It was a cooperative effort," Lewis said.
