Big Boy Toyz sales manager Mark Lindsey talks business with a pair of customers Saturday at Big Boy Toyz.

Big Boy Toyz opened just before Christmas in downtown. The business, located at State Line Avenue and Seventh Street in the former Almost Everything, offers an array of used motorcycles, off-road vehicles, clothes and accessories.

"Our main goal in the new year is to provide a good atmosphere for motorcycle riders," said Mark Lindsey, sales manager. "We want to be a destination spot where folks can hang out and check out some cool stuff. And if you are in the market for a good bike, we're here for that. And you won't deal with the overhead you would find at the big dealerships."

Lindsey described the reaction from Texarkana as fantastic.

"Customers have been impressed by our stock and our prices. This store is all about the motorcycle rider and enthusiast," he said. "This is the place for people who love bikes and the lifestyle that surrounds them."

Big Boy Toyz features 8,000 square feet of awning where bikes and other vehicles are displayed. Sometimes, they have live entertainment.

"Its also where customers who come in on motorcycles can park their bikes," he said.

Big Boy Toyz gets its stock from a wide range of sources. As a used motorcycle and other vehicle outlet, they do individual buys, as well as older stock from dealerships and the like. The clothing and accessories available are new.
