The fifth annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Parade will be held at 11:30 a.m today in downtown Texarkana.
The parade, sponsored by Bridging the Gaps of Arkansas, will start its lineup at 10 a.m. in the 500 block of East Broad Street and will include about 50 units.
Once the parade starts, it will go for slightly more than 1 mile along East Broad to East Front streets, over to Olive Street, then to North State Line Avenue, before moving on to East Fourth Street and concluding at the Miller County Courthouse.
