According to Facebook posts, several schools have delayed start times or told students not to come because of inclement weather.
De Queen posted that it will have no school today. Also in Southwest Arkansas, Ashdown, Nashville and Foreman posted they would have no school today as well.
In Northeast Texas, DeKalb, New Boston, Hooks, Leary, Simms and Maud have posted that it will begin classes at 10 a.m.
Also, Texarkana College announced it will have a late start as well, with a 9:30 a.m. start. Classes meeting before 9:30 a.m. will be canceled.

Northeast Texas

- No school today for De Queen.
- Foreman will be closed due to weather. Students today will count as an AMI day, please refer to your packet.
- Horatio schools will close today for inclement weather. This will be an AMI/Digital Day.
- In order to err on the side of safety for our students and staff, Ashdown Public Schools will not have school today.
