Bowie County adds 10 coronavirus cases

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Bowie County, Texas, increased by 10 from Thursday to Friday, moving from 163 to 173, according to the local emergency Joint Operations Center.

Cass County, Texas' case count held at 32, according to the JOC.

Elsewhere in Northeast Texas, Titus County's count increased from 500 to 511, according to the Texas Department of State Health Services. Morris County's tally held at 27, and Red River's at 76.

In Southwest Arkansas, Miller County added two cases to reach 52. Sevier County's count increased from 297 to 301, Howard County's from 26 to 27, Hempstead County's from 21 to 23, Nevada County's from nine to 10 and Little River County's from 10 to 14. Lafayette County held at nine cases.

Caddo Parish in Northwest Louisiana added more than 30 cases for a total of 2,699, according to the Louisiana Department of Health. Bossier Parish's count rose from 438 to 450.

Statewide, Arkansas reported 8,651 total cases so far, with 152 deaths. Louisiana reported 41,989 cases with 2,801 deaths, and Texas reported 71,613 cases
with 1,788 deaths.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported 1,862,656 total cases in the U.S. so far, with a national death toll of 108,064.
