TEXARKANA, Texas - Texarkana Independent School District Board of Trustees will discuss improvement plans for Westlawn Elementary School in a regular meeting this morning.
Following an executive session, the board will hold a public hearing on plans for Westlawn before it considers approving the plans.
The board will then hear reports from Acting Superintendent Autumn Thomas.
The consent agenda contains information about personnel items, monthly investment reports, budget amendments and instructional materials.
Action/discussion items discussed will include monthly financial reports, an audit report and the Texas High Program of Studies and Course Description Guide for 2020-2021.
Information on professional development updates and amendments to the 2020-2021 TISD Student Handbook will be given.
Officials will conduct the meeting at the District Services Building, 1600 Waterall St., at 11:30 a.m.
