NEW BOSTON, Texas - A pregnant 22-year-old woman has died after an assailant cut her baby from her womb sometime Friday morning at a residence in New Boston, according to Bowie County officials.
The woman was approximately seven-and-a-half months pregnant and the infant did not survive. A female suspect was taken into custody today in Oklahoma.
Multiple agencies are investigating including New Boston Police Department, Bowie County Sheriff's Office, Texas Department of Public Safety and Texarkana, Texas, Police Department.
